Chi Kung, or "life-breath-movement" can serve as self-shiatsu while it builds your physical strength, stamina and feeling of well-being. Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese art of health and self-cultivation centered on the coordination of breath, chi and movements of the body.

Easy to learn and practice, Chi Kung exercises enable you to activate chi and clear meridians while you build a store of strength and stamina in your body. The internal massage of Chi Kung will enhance the energy, health and sense of well-being in your body. It is frequently an adjunct to shiatsu treatments, and it is excellent preparation for daily Tai Chi exercise.

Tai Chi, like the yin-yang symbol itself, represents harmony, balance and "ultimately coordinated" motion. Known as the "The Grand Ultimate", tai chi is the "ultimate" statement of activating, maximizing and directing your own internal Chi, allowing you to achieve your goals without unnecessary struggle against forces - however strong - within or outside of yourself.

The practice of tai chi is ideal for maintaining and enhancing health and harmony in the body, mind and spirit. With time, students can learn the responsiveness, flexibility and calmness demanded throughout life and embodied in correct tai chi.
